HR Enrollment Specialist 

Job Description

The HR Enrollment Specialist is primarily responsible for conducting criminal records research, drug testing, and collecting ink and digital fingerprints. This is an entry-level role that introduces the employee to various background screening procedures, including the operation of various background screening processes, while navigating through specialized computer software databases. This role interfaces with our clients and their applicants on a daily basis,  requiring good communication, customer focus, attention to detail and problem solving skills. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Promptly greet applicants and guests
  • Facilitate applicant processing
  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting equipment, including computer hardware and software
  • Obtain successful applicant fingerprint images and capture biometric information to meet or exceed program standards
  • Travel to client locations to conduct mobile fingerprint collection
  • Verify applicant identity and scan required documents into database system
  • Adhere to all company and departmental employment policies
  • Perform various administrative duties such as, but not limited to: time keeping and daily activity reporting

  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters with the highest degree of integrity.  Capacity to display sound judgment, and to work urgently, discreetly, thoroughly, and objectively on matters of extreme confidentiality.  
  • Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others.
  • Must be able to interact with a diverse population across all socioeconomic levels. 
  • Previous experience with report writing preferred.  
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, good typing skills and be proficient with computers and conducting web-based investigations.  
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and analyze facts, and author comprehensive and concise case notes.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Previous experience processing credentials preferred
